30th weekly update - Start of Chapter 13 development / Poll results
Hey everyone!
It’s time for the 30th weekly update – and with it comes a major milestone: development for Chapter 13 has officially begun!
As most of you know, Chapter 13 marks a critical turning point in FamilyVacation. The events from here on out will shape the final arc of the story. I’m already deep into planning the narrative structure and dialogue paths, particularly focusing on how Tanisha’s future with Philipp will branch depending on your choices.
One of the goals for this chapter is to minimize unnecessary divergence, to keep rendering and development time manageable while still preserving meaningful player agency.
This week’s in-game render features a quiet moment with Lotta and her family – her mother Stine and her dad, who just arrived from Norway.

Hey. Thanks for you question.
The game will end with chapter 20 latest - the game's complexity is to hight to continue after that. I think and hope that will be at the end of 2025.
I'm not sure what to do after that. Either I'll develop a follow-up game for the family or a completely new game or I take a break from game development.
Either way, I've several ideas for a follow - up game, but I'm also open for new ideas.
